Just a couple of pieces!!

This bottle is hopefully going to be exhibited at Waddesdon. 

After a lovely couple of days on a course for free machine embroidery a book cover emerged.

MY JUNGLE BOOK

I made a background a few years ago and thought it would look good under my butterfly wing!

So I made a book cover.  It is lined with one of my husbands shirts!!!

BOWES MUSEUM EXHIBITION

This piece was designed and worked by me for the Bowes Museum Exhibition.
It was called Study, Design, Create..... and that is what we did!
We had to study a number of lappets from a large collection held by Bowes.
That in itself proved quite a challenge, but then came the design and create!!
I must say all in all i enjoyed the process.
This piece has proved very difficult to photograph. So next time, not only do I have to study, design, create, I will have to consider photography!!!!

NECKLACE AND BRACELET

After a wonderful week in Prague

Anna Halikova and Alina Jaskova welcomed us to Prague and gave us two days of design and three days of planning and working lace. We were also taken to amazing lace exhibitions. Together with friendships made and being looked after by our lovely hotel what more could one want........... roll on next year!!!

I designed and made this Angel for a friend. I think I know what next years xmas card will be!!!
